Book Name:Shehr e Mohabbat
A place for the poor and needy
Dear Islamic brothers! When Allah Almighty mentioned Madinah Ṭayyibah in the Torah, He said: "Yā Maskīnah!" — meaning, O land of peace and comfort.
* سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه! This is also one of the great honours of Madinah. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه!
* Madinah Ṭayyibah is that pure land where people find peace.
* In it they find comfort.
* Troubled hearts come here and feel relief.
* Those burdened with sorrow come here and are freed from their worries.
Yes, yes! It is Madinah — just as our beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is a shelter for every helpless person, in the same way, Madinah Ṭayyibah is like a sanctuary for every poor person.
Mention of Madinah in the noble Quran
O devotees of the Prophet! اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه! Madinah Ṭayyibah is a beloved city of Allah Almighty. Just as our Merciful Lord mentioned it with honour in previous heavenly books, He also mentioned Madinah al-Munawwarah in several places in the final heavenly book, the holy Quran.
* The well-known name of Madinah, “Madinah,” appears four times in the noble Quran.
* In Juzˈ 15, Surah Banī Isrāˈīl, verse 80, the wording مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ is used for Madinah, meaning a good and true place to enter.
* In Juzˈ 5, Surah al-Nisāˈ, verse 97, Madinah Munawwarah is referred to as اَرْضُ اللہ meaning the land of Allah.
