Muftī Naqī Alī Khan’s devotion

Dear Islamic brothers! The noble father of the reviver of Islam, the Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah, Imam Aḥmad Razā Khan رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه, Maulana Mufti Naqi Ali Khan رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه, was also a great devotee of the beloved Prophet       صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and a devotee of Madinah as well.

His ꜤUrs takes place on the 29th or 30th of Dhul-QaꜤdah. Try to arrange a gathering to convey reward to him in your homes, shops, or offices.   اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه, you will receive the blessings of this true saint of Allah Almighty.

Now, let’s listen to an incident showing his love for Madinah.

A devotee’s journey to Madinah

The following account is from 1295 AH, during the month of Shawwāl. Mawlānā Naqī ꜤAlī Khan رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه had fallen ill and become physically weak. One day, he was asleep in this condition, his eyes were closed, but the eyes of his heart were open. At that moment, the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم blessed him and came into the dream of his true devotee.

The beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم commanded him: “Come to Madinah!” When Mawlānā Naqī ꜤAlī Khan رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه woke up, though he was ailing and physically weak, he knew the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم had given him an order.

So, he immediately made a firm intention to travel for Hajj and visit
