صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is such that even the ꜤArsh itself does not possess that station and eminence.

Hearing this unique proof from Sayyid Aḥmad SaꜤīd Kāẓimī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه, the senior official was left speechless.^[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Is Makkah better or Madinah...?

Dear Islamic brothers! اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه, Madinah al-Munawwarah is the best and most excellent city. And why wouldn’t it be? It is the city where the beloved of Allah, the final Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is resting.

Let me clarify something here: Is Makkah better or Madinah...? The scholars have written many deep and detailed discussions on this topic. In the end, the conclusion of these scholarly discourses is that the blessed grave of our beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم — meaning the part of the land that is in contact with his blessed body — is better than the Ka’bah and even better than the lofty ꜤArsh رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه. The part above the blessed grave is not included in this.

The specific place where the Ka’bah is located is better than the rest of the city of Madinah (excluding the blessed grave). Apart from the blessed grave of the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and the Ka’bah, when it comes to the remaining areas of Madinah and Makkah, which is better? Regarding this, the second Caliph of the Muslims, Sayyidunā ꜤUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ held the opinion that Madinah is better.^[2]
