Book Name:Shehr e Mohabbat
the love of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, calling towards righteousness, and trying to turn the Ummah into practicing, prayer-offering Muslims.
You too should join the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami and actively take part in the 12 religious activities of the local circle. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه, you will receive countless blessings in both this world and the Hereafter.
O devotees of the Prophet! A true devotee of the Prophet and a devotee of Madinah is someone who acts upon the sunan of the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. What kind of devotee is someone who claims love but does not follow the sunan?
The renowned spiritual guide and leader of Ahl al-Sunnah, Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ, has gifted us "72 Pious Deeds" to help us become righteous and Sunnah-practicing Muslims.
Among these, Pious Deed No. 31 is:
"Did you act on any Sunnahs
today?"
(For example: using the miswak, how you enter and leave your house, how you
sleep and wake, sitting facing the Qiblah, etc.)
Many people become lazy when it comes to following the sunan. But by practising this good deed, we will become among those who act upon sunan.
May Allah bless us with the ability to follow sunan.
