Book Name:Shehr e Mohabbat
the renowned spiritual guide and leader of Ahl al-Sunnah, Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ.
When you need to travel, it is better to begin your journey on a Monday, Thursday, or Saturday.[1]
The beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم advised Sayyidunā Jubayr b. MuṭꜤim رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ to read the following Surahs before starting the journey so he would remain more blessed and prosperous during travel:
- Surah al-Kāfirūn
- Surah al-Naṣr
- Surah al-Ikhlāṣ
- Surah al-Falaq
- Surah al-Nās
Read each of these Surahs once. Start each
one with بِسْمِ
اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ,
and then recite Bismillah once again at the very end.
(In this way, you will recite five Surahs and Bismillah a total of six times.)
Sayyidunā Jubayr b. MuṭꜤim رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ said:
I was already a man of wealth, but whenever I travelled, I would return worse off than my companions. However, since I began to recite these Surahs before travelling, by their blessings I have always returned from my journeys in prosperity.[2]
Keep a mirror, antimony, comb and miswak with you, as it is a Sunnah to do so.[3]
