Book Name:Shehr e Mohabbat
In a very well-known narration, Sayyidunā KaꜤb al-Aḥbār رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ said:
When Fajr begins, 70,000 angels arrive in Madinah al-Munawwarah. They cover the blessed resting place of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم with their wings, and (what do they do there?) "یُصَلُّوْنَ عَلَی النَّبِیْ" they send ṣalāt upon the beloved Prophet of Allah, صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.
Sayyidunā KaꜤb al-Aḥbār رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ also said:
These angels remain present until evening. When evening comes, these angels depart, and another group of 70,000 angels arrives. From evening till the next morning, this second group covers the blessed grave with their wings and continues to send ṣalāt upon the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. This blessed routine will continue like this until the Day of Judgement.[1]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
The beloved city of Sayyidunā Jibrīl عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم
The leader of love and devotion, the reviver of Islam, the Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah, Imam Aḥmad Razā Khan رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه, beautifully described the greatness of Madinah in a unique way. He wrote:
Chaman-e-Taiba hay wo baagh key Murgh-e-sidrah
Barson chehke hain jahan Bulbul-e-shaida ho kar[2]
Meaning: Madinah is that beautiful garden which Sayyidunā Jibrīl عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم used to frequent for years, like a nightingale going to a flower out of love and chirping around it.
