Dear Islamic brothers! Whenever Sadaqah and charity are mentioned, their virtues are mentioned, and we immediately have a feeling in our minds that this refers to the types of Sadaqah which are linked with wealth, and that these virtues are also attached only to them. However, our Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم also mentioned such forms of Sadaqah, through which one can attain the virtues, excellences and blessings of Sadaqah without spending any money. Similarly, there are also some forms of Sadaqah which are considered more virtuous forms than others, and these include giving from one’s wealth. However, there are some forms in which wealth is not required at all. Let us first hear about those Sadaqat which do not require spending any money.

Calling towards righteousness and preventing evil is Sadaqah.
Telling the way to someone who is lost is Sadaqah.
Helping a weak-sighted (or blind) person is Sadaqah.
Guiding a lost person to his destination is Sadaqah
