Dawat-e-Islami increased due to the blessings of this journey. Now, I wish to remain associated with the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami until my death. I am no longer fond of fashion! The company of the devotees of the Prophet during the I’tikaf and journey with the Madani Qafilah completely changed my life. Besides this, by the grace of Allah Almighty, at present I am serving the Sunnah in my area as the responsible person for the Pious Deeds booklet.

صَلُّوْا عَلَی الْحَبیب!                                                                                    صَلَّی اللہُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّد

Mentioning the importance of giving Sadaqah to our relatives, the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said: ‘اِنَّ الصَّدَقَۃَ عَلٰی ذِیْ قَـرَابَۃٍ یُضَعَّفُ اَجْرُھَا مَرَّتَیْنِ - ‘Undoubtedly the reward for giving Sadaqah to relatives is increased by two-fold.[1]

In order to persuade us, let us listen to two faith-refreshing stories consisting of the blessings of Sadaqah, and receive Madani pearls of advice from them:

Reward for one loaf of bread

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah Bin Mas’ood رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْھُمَا has narrated: A monk named ‘Abdullah was engaged in worship for 60 years. He then committed sins for 6 nights after becoming sinfully involved with a woman. When he felt ashamed of his sins, he came running towards a Masjid where he found three hungry people; he gave one loaf of bread to them as Sadaqah and then passed away. In order to weigh his deeds, the worship of 60 years was placed on one scale and on the second scale the sins of 6 days were placed; his sins outweighed the worship, but
