*   The Adhan should be called after the time has started; if the Adhan is called before its time or was begun before the time and the time of Salah began whilst it was being called, in both cases, it will be repeated.[1]

*   Whether they are praying a current prayer or making up a prayer, it is Makruh for females to recite the Adhan or Iqamah.[2]

*   A child with understanding can also call the Adhan.[3]

*   Calling the Adhan without Wudu is valid; however, it is Makruh to call the Adhan without Wudu.[4]

*   Placing the fingers in the ear during Adhan is Masnoon and Mustahab, but shaking and moving them is an unnecessary act.[5]

*   It is Mustahab to say اَلصَّوۃُ خَیّْرٌمِنَالنَّوم after حَیََّ عَلَی الفْلَاح in the Azan of Fajr.[6] If it is not said, the Azan will still be valid.[7]
