Sadqa Ki Baharain Ma Afzal Sadqat

Book Name:Sadqa Ki Baharain Ma Afzal Sadqat

of Islam; he should consider their troubles to be his own troubles and try to receive their Du’as.

But regretfully! Nowadays instead of helping the poor and spending money for righteous acts by giving Sadaqah, huge amounts of money is spent on useless and unnecessary activities, and no attention is paid to the fact that there are many neglected people of this society around us who neither have proper shelters, nor proper clothing, nor do they have sufficient food to eat. We should try to take care of the needs of such people who conceal their poverty, as much as possible and we should treat them well. The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated: One morsel of bread, one handful of dates or anything besides this  which gives benefit to the needy; Due to these, Allah Almighty enters three people into Paradise.

1.   The owner of the house who gave the order,

2.   His wife, as she prepares it,

3.   the servant who goes to give it to the needy.’

The Noble Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم then stated: ‘Praise is for Allah Almighty, Who has not left even our servants [i.e. they are also admitted to Paradise due to participating according to their ability and conveying the Sadaqah to the poor].’[1]

Dear Islamic brothers! Quite often, we financially help poor people a lot, and also wholeheartedly take part in virtuous acts, but we forget our own relatives. They must also be remembered; they should be helped in a very nice manner without damaging their self-respect. In fact, they should be given preference when helping.

صَلُّوْا عَلَی الْحَبیب!                                                                        صَلَّی اللہُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّد
