6. BayꜤah can take place through a letter.[1]

7. A person may also become a murīd through an envoy or correspondence.[2]

8. Objecting to the sayings or actions of the murshid is forbidden and leads to deprivation of blessings in both worlds.[3]

9. Even if the murīd appears to receive spiritual benefit through another saint (living or deceased), he should regard it as the spiritual blessing of his own murshid.[4]

10. A murīd must always be cautious and respectful, for even slight negligence can lead to major worldly and spiritual harm that may never be rectified.[5]

11. Sayyidunā Dhū al-Nūn al-Miṣrī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه  said: “When a murīd does not observe proper etiquette, he returns to the place from where he began.”[6]
