As Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه is our spiritual guide and beloved to us, we will gain the blessings of listening to some aspects of his biography. May Allah make us all firm upon the path of the great imam, increase us in our love for him and the awliyāˈ, and in particular, in our love for the Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم .

 اٰمِیْن بِجَاہِ النَّبِیِّ الْاَمِیْن صلَّی اللہ عَلَیْہِ واٰلہٖ وسلَّم

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Remain loyal

Sayyid Ayyūb ꜤAlī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was a student of Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه and would usually accompany him. He was also the first person to work on a biography of the illustrious imam.

Sayyid Ayyūb ꜤAlī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه relates:

One day, my brother Sayyid QanāꜤat ꜤAlī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه and I were both in the presence of Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه, busy with some scholarly work. It was 9 or 10 in the morning. A young man came, gave salaam and sat quietly to one side.

We asked, “Where have you come from?”

He replied, “I am a resident of Meerut.”

We enquired, “What brings you here?”

Upon being asked this question, the young man could not control himself and started crying. We repeatedly asked, but he gave no reply.

Finally, after much insistence, he mentioned, “I am a murid of Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān (رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه). This year, I was honoured with attending a gathering held in remembrance of Khawājah
