displease Allah and His Messenger  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم . With a murshid’s help, a person can also spend his life doing actions which please Allah.^[1]

*   Someone who has taken an oath of allegiance at the hands of a true murshid should not take an oath of allegiance with another.^[2]

*   Becoming a murid of Shaykh ꜤAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ holds great benefits, such as preserving one’s faith, repenting before death, and entering Paradise by attaining salvation from Hell.^[3]
