صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers, bringing the speech to its conclusion, I will gain the blessings of mentioning the excellence of the Sunnah and presenting some etiquettes. The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم declared, مَنْ اَحَبَّ سُنَّتِي فَقَدْ اَحَبَّنِي وَمَنْ اَحَبَّنِي كَانَ مَعِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ (Whoever loves my Sunnah loves me, and whoever loves me will be with me in Paradise.)[1]

Madanī pearls of giving oath of allegiance

Dear Islamic brothers, let us listen to some Madanī pearls related to giving oath of allegiance:

*   One should make a righteous person his imam by doing taqlīd in Islamic law and giving oath of allegiance in tariqa so that you are gathered with the righteous on the Day of Judgement.[2]

*   A way to preserve one’s faith is to become the murid of a true murshid.[3]

*   Giving oath of allegiance at the hands of a true shaykh that fulfils all the conditions is an inherited practice of the Muslims. There are innumerable worldly blessings and benefits in this, as well as blessings and benefits of the hereafter too.[4]

*   Allegiance is pledged to a murshid so that through the blessings of his guidance and spiritual attention, a murid can avoid acts which
