Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه: a true spiritual guide

O devotees of the Prophet! The 10^th of Shawwāl al-Mukarram is the day the Reviver of Islam, the Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah, Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was born.

Indeed, the auspicious personality of Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه is a great blessing for the Islamic world. When tribulations arose, heresy was rampant, innovations were widespread, مَعاذَ الـلّٰـه vile attempts were being made at distorting the meanings of Quranic verses and Islam’s teachings, Allah blessed the Muslim world with Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه.

The great imam stood firm in the face of these tribulations, thwarted evil plots, stemmed the tide of heresy and explained sound Islamic creed. He defended Islamic beliefs, Islamic teachings, the sanctity of the Quran and the honour of the Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم . He eliminated innovations, spread the sunnah, rectified society and infused people with love of the Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم . اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه He eradicated tribulations and raised high the flag of Islam.

Dear Islamic brothers, اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه our Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was an accomplished individual. Excellence was seen in all aspects of his life. Not only was he a great commentator of the Quran, an expert in hadith sciences, a peerless scholar, accomplished mufti, ardent worshipper and ascetic, but he was also a saint and a spiritual guide.

Even today, there are millions of his murids. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه All Attaris are Razawis, because Ameer Ahl al-Sunnah, Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ, initiates people into the Qādirī spiritual order through the chain of Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه. Even those that are not part of the same spiritual order as Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه still love him, as the great imam embodied love for the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and is a sign of Sunnism.
