Book Name:Shair e Khuda Kay Roshan Faisly
Amīr-al-Mu`minīn Sayyiduna ‘Umar al-Farūq رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ had appointed a special judge in his court who was none other than Amīr-al-Mu`minīn, Sayyiduna Maula ‘Ali رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ. Whenever such a problem would arise, Sayyiduna Farooq-e-A’zam رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ would call him and mention the problem to him, then Sayyiduna ‘Ali al-Murtaḍā رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ would solve it.[1]
Sometimes Sayyiduna ‘Ali کَـرَّمَ الـلّٰـهُ وَجۡـھَـهُ الۡـکَـرِیۡم would solve extremely difficult cases in such an easy way that Amīr-al-Mu`minīn Sayyiduna ‘Umar Farooq-e-A’zam رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ would praise him. Let’s listen to a faith-refreshing parable about this.
Importance of Sayyiduna ‘Ali to Sayyiduna ‘Umar
Once a woman who was declared guilty in the light of Shar’i witnesses and evidences, was brought before Sayyiduna ‘Umar b. al-Khaṭṭāb رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ, so Sayyiduna ‘Umar رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ announced the decision for her as per Shari’ah, but by chance he رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ could not pay his attention to a special aspect of the case. When Sayyiduna ‘Ali al-Murtaḍā رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ paid attention to this aspect, Sayyiduna ‘Umar رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ took his decision back and said: ‘لَوْ لَا عَلِیٌّ لَھَلَکَ عُمَرُ’ If it was not for Sayyiduna ‘Ali, ‘Umar would have been destroyed.[2]

Dear Islamic brothers! May it not be the case that after listening to the foregoing parable we start speculating about religious rulings and tell people about rulings by guessing or start settling their disputes or cases by using our own assumptions in religious matters. Remember! This is the job of only Islamic scholars and jurists, therefore, we should seek guidance from Islamic scholars and respected Muftis at all times as per the Madani thought given to us by Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـه. Let’s observe the way of Sayyiduna 'Umar رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ regarding this.
May I not be where Maula Ali is absent
Sayyiduna Abū Sa’īd al-Khudri رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ narrates: “Amīr al-Mu’minīn, Sayyiduna
