دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـه provides answers to them, which are full of wisdom and devotion to the Prophet. In short, thousands of Islamic brothers participate in collective I’tikaf and along with other forms of worship, acquire sacred knowledge and learn the Sunnah.
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Amīr al-Mu’minīn, Sayyiduna Ali-ul-Murtaza کَـرَّمَ الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَـالٰی وَجۡـھَـهُ الۡـکَـرِیۡم has stated: ‘If worldly wealth comes to you, spend some from it. This is because it will not finish by being spent. If worldly wealth turns away from you and leaves, you should still spend some from it, because it will not remain forever.’[1]
Sayyiduna Huzayfah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ has stated: ‘Many sinful Muslims and people who were hopeless and in a bad state in their lives, will enter Paradise only due to their generosity.’[2]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Madani pearls of knowledge related to studying
* Dear Islamic brothers! Let’s now have the privilege of listening to some Madani pearls of knowledge, related to studying and reading. Firstly, we will start with the blessed Hadith of the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, in relation to this topic.
1. “No doubt, knowledge is acquired through learning.”[3]
2. “The world and everything in it is accursed, besides the dhikr of Allah, His friends, (as well as) students and teachers of (Islamic, sacred) knowledge.[4]
* Studying reinforces and strengthens a person’s faith.[5]
