اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ وَ الصَّلٰوۃُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلٰی سَیِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ ^ط

اَمَّا بَعْدُ فَاَعُوْذُ بِاللّٰہِ مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِیْمِ ^ط  بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّ حِیْم ^ط

Great Decisions of Sayyiduna ‘Ali al-Murtaḍā رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنۡهُ

اَلصَّلٰوۃُ وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا رَسُولَ اللہ                                                         وَعَلٰی اٰلِكَ وَ اَصْحٰبِكَ یَا حَبِیْبَ اللہ

اَلصَّلٰوۃُ وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا نَبِیَّ اللہ                                                                       وَعَلٰی اٰلِكَ وَ اَصْحٰبِكَ یَا نُوْرَ اللہ

نَوَيۡتُ سُنَّتَ الۡاِعۡتِكَافِ

Translation: I have made the intention of Sunnah I’tikaf.

Whenever you enter a Masjid, upon remembering, make the intention of Nafl I’tikaf because as long as you stay in the Masjid you will keep obtaining the reward of Nafl (supererogatory) I’tikaf. In addition, eating and drinking (water etc.) will also become permissible for you in the Masjid.

Excellence of Salat-‘Alan-Nabi صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم

The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said:

مَامِنْ عَبْدَيْنِ مُتَحَابَّيْنِ فِي اللهِ يَسْتَقْبِلُ اَحَدُهُما صَاحِبَهُ فَيُصَافِحُه ويُصَلِّيَانِ عَلَى النَّبيِّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ واٰلہٖ وَسَلَّمَ اِلَّا لَمْ يَفْتَرِقَا حتّٰى تُغْفَرَ ذُنُوْبُهُمَا مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْهَا وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ ت

“When two servants of Allah who love one another for the sake of Allah meet, shake hands, and recite Salat upon the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم; their previous and future sins are forgiven before they  separate.”^[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                            صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
