رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ. He رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ realized at once when he heard the detail of the incident from the woman that both friends together deceived her. Sayyiduna ‘Ali al-Murtaḍā رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْه asked the man: Didn’t you both say this to the woman? ‘Unless we both come together, do not return the dinars to any of us’. He replied in the positive and said that they had decided the same. Sayyiduna ‘Ali کَـرَّمَ الـلّٰـهُ وَجۡـھَـهُ الۡـکَـرِیۡم said: Returning your money is our responsibility. Go and bring your companion so that we can return your deposit to you.[1]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! It has been understood from the above-mentioned parable that Allah Almighty blessed Amīr-ul-Mu`minīn Sayyiduna ‘Ali al-Murtaḍāرَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ with great intellectual abilities along with an abundance of knowledge. That is why by virtue of his great intelligence he رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ saved the woman from the financial loss which she might have suffered due to the fraudsters.
Remember, Sayyiduna ‘Ali al-Murtaḍā رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ possessed plenty marvels and attributes. For instance, he is the lion of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and the son-in-law of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم; he is Ḥaydar-e-Karrār, very generous, very brave and also abundant in performing worship and spiritual exercises. He was also very eloquent and knowledgeable. In short, he رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ possesses many marvels and virtues and enjoys a prominent and unique status in regards to them. Let’s have the privilege of attaining some blessings by hearing about his noble life.
His name is Sayyiduna ‘Ali b. ‘Abī Tālib’ and his kunyah is ‘Abul Ḥasan’ and also ‘Abū Turāb’. He رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ is the son of the Beloved Prophet’s paternal uncle, Abū Tālib. The name of his mother is Sayyidatuna Fāṭimah bint Asad b. Hāshim رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا. She embraced Islam, migrated and passed away in Madinah.[2]
Amīr-al-Mu`minīn, Sayyiduna ‘Ali al-Murtaḍā رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ embraced Islam at a very young age. A’la Hadrat رَحْمَةُ اللهِ عَلَيْه has said: When Sayyiduna ‘Ali کَـرَّمَ الـلّٰـهُ وَجۡـھَـهُ الۡـکَـرِیۡم
