towards me, bears malice towards Allah Almighty.^[1]

He صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stated: ‘مَنْ سَبَّ عَلِیًّا فَقَدْ سَبَّنِیْ’ i.e. the one who spoke ill of ‘Ali indeed spoke ill of me.^[2]

Dear Islamic brothers! From the above-mentioned blessed Hadith it has become obvious that Sayyiduna ‘Ali al-Murtaḍā  رَضِىَ اللهُ  عَـنْهُ, the lion of Allah Almighty was so close to the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ  عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم that whoever insults and disrespects ‘Ali al-Murtaḍā  رَضِىَ اللهُ  عَـنْهُ, is deemed as one who insults and is disrespectful to the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ  عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. May Allah Almighty enable us to respect all the blessed companions including Sayyiduna ‘Ali al-Murtaḍā , the lion of Allah Almighty and instil their glory and greatness in the depths of our hearts!

اٰمِيۡن بِجَاهِ النَّبِيِّ الۡاَمِيۡن صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡهِ وَاٰلِه وَسَلَّم
