*   He was somebody who forgave those who owed him, called towards righteousness, forbade evil, stood firmly for the truth, treated everyone fairly and justly, and forgave those who harmed him and caused him pain.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                  صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

An exclusivity of Imam-e-A’zam رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه

Dear Islamic brothers! One great exclusivity from the many exclusivities of Imam-e-A’zam رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه is that he رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was a Taabi’i. A Taabi’i is that blessed personality who met a Sahabi in the state of Iman and passed away on Imam also. (Sharh Nukhba-tul-Fikr, p. 13) The Tabi’een are those blessed individual who have the honour of being true guides for the Muslims. If they are sought, then they will be found within the treasures houses of knowledge, the books of Ahadith, the commentaries of the Quran, possessors of lofty character and conduct, those who stood firmly against falsehood, in the manifestations of Shari’ah and Tareeqah and the possessors of Islamic knowledge.

Remember! The mirror that we are in need of in order to improve and rectify our knowledge and actions is the illuminating mirror of the Tabi’een رَحِمَهُمُ الـلّٰـه, for the light of Islam reached them via one intermediary only. Furthermore, they were declared to be from among the best generations on the Prophetic tongue, just as it is stated in the Hadith that: ‘اِنَّ خَیْرَکُمْ قَرْنِیْ ثُمَّ الَّذِیْنَ یَلُوْنَھُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِیْنَ یَلُوْنَھُمْ’, meaning, ‘Indeed, my generation is the best, then those who will come after them, then those who will come after them.’ (Muslim, p. 1053, Hadith 6475)

The excellence of the Sahabah and Tabi’een

The first part of the Hadith is referring to the noble Sahabah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُم, who were present in the era of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم,
