The remaining rulings and etiquettes of Wudu
* If the ring is loose, it is Sunnah to move it whilst flowing water under it, and if it is tight and water cannot reach beneath it without moving it, then it will be Fard. This ruling applies to earrings as well.
* To wash the limbs by rubbing them is Sunnah in Wudu and Ghusl.
* When washing the limbs of Wudu, it is Wajib to wash them a little more than the amount stipulated by Shari’ah so that there is no doubt left in them being washed in accordance to the amount stipulated by Shari’ah.
* It is Makruh to leave the washing of the mouth or sniffing water up the nose, and if one makes a habit of it, then he will become sinful. Those who do not rinse their mouth in such a way that the water reaches the entire mouth up to the throat, and those who merely touch the tip of their nose with water without sniffing it, are all sinful. If this is done during Ghusl, then neither Ghusl will be valid nor Salah.
* It is Sunnah Muakkadah to wash every limb three times completely in Wudu. The one who omits this regularly will be sinful.
* Do not rush Wudu, rather, take your time to perform it calmly. It is famous among people that they say, ‘Make Wudu like a young man, and pray Salah like an elderly man’, this is incorrect about Wudu.
* When washing the face, do not throw water on the cheeks nor on the nose nor forcefully on the forehead. All of these actions are the way
