Huqooq Ul Ibaad Ki Ahmiyat

Book Name:Huqooq Ul Ibaad Ki Ahmiyat

It is narrated: A man once went to Sayyiduna Umar-e-Farooq-e-A’zam رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ to complain about his wife. When he arrived at the door, he heard the wife of Ameer-ul-Mu’mineen رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ conversing in a loud voice. So, he returned and said to himself, ‘Ameer-ul-Mu’mineen رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ is stuck in this problem himself.’ Afterwards, Ameer-ul-Mu’mineen رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ asked him why he came (and then returned). 5.   And she cooks for me.’

He replied, ‘These qualities are also present in my wife, therefore, I will also excuse her from now on.’ (Tanbiyyah-ul-Ghafileen, p. 280, summarised)

Upon my asking, he رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه said, ‘The weight of the Prophet’s Ummah has been placed upon my neck.
