Some rulings and etiquettes of Wudu

O devotees of the Prophet! Let us now have the honour of listening to some rulings and etiquettes of Wudu from the booklet of Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ entitled ‘Method of Wudu’:

*   Do not shut the eyes tightly during Wudu, but (by doing so,) the Wudu will still be valid.

*   If one shuts the lips firmly and does not rinse the mouth whilst performing Wudu, the Wudu will not be valid.

*   The Wudu water will be placed in the scale of good deeds on the Day of Judgement. (But remember! Using more water than required is Israaf (wastage)).

*   If Miswak is present, then using a finger to rub on teeth will not be sufficient to fulfil the Sunnah and gain reward. However, if there is no Miswak, then using the finger or a coarse cloth will fulfil the Sunnah; and for a woman, if there is Miswak present, even then using herbal powder will be sufficient for her.
