given their share from his good deeds. If his good deeds run out before he fulfils his due rights, the sins of people will be placed upon him, and then he will be cast into Hell.’ (Muslim, p. 1394, Hadees 2581)

The oppressed and grief-stricken are at an advantage

Dear Islamic brothers! Violating the rights of people is very detrimental for one’s Hereafter. Sayyiduna Shaykh Abu Taalib Muhammad Bin Ali Makki رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه states: ‘In most cases, (it is not one’s own sins) but the sins of others that will become a means of entering Hell, which will be placed upon a person (due to violating the rights of people). Also, countless people will enter Paradise (not due to their own good deeds) but by acquiring the good deeds of others.’ (Qoot-ul-Quloob, vol. 2, p. 292)

It is apparent that those who will attain the good deeds of others are those whose feelings were hurt and whose rights were violated in the world. Like this, the oppressed and grief-stricken will be at an advantage on the Day of Judgment.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                            صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The people of Allah and their fear of Him

Dear Islamic brothers! Those who possess the fear of Allah Almighty, His righteous slaves, are so cautious even in the apparently inconsequential issues of the rights of people that one is left astonished.

It is narrated: When Sayyiduna Abdullah Bin Mubarak رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was once leaving for a journey, an individual handed him a letter to pass onto someone else. He رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه said, ‘I have rented the camel, therefore, I will have to take permission from the owner of the camel, because I have already shown him all of my provisions, and this letter is an extra thing.’ (Ihya-ul-‘Uloom, vol. 1, p. 353, derived from)

The passion of Sayyiduna Abdullah Bin Mubarak رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه in fulfilling the right of people is most amazing! After showing all of the provisions to the camel owner, he رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه had the mindset of taking permission from him before
