Book Name:Huqooq Ul Ibaad Ki Ahmiyat
sometimes such sick people in houses who take sleeping pills and remain in bed, students who have to go to school in the morning and other individuals who go to work; if a Mehfil (gathering) is organised in such an area with sound systems blasting, then there is a chance that the feelings of the helpless and sick will be hurt.
It is not appropriate for those who dispute the ear-splitting sound of the speaker to give the following example, ‘People play songs very loudly on weddings also, why does nobody stop them! But when we praise the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, people have an issue.’ مَعَاذَ الـلّٰـه, this is clear slander, regardless of how sinful a Muslim is, he will never have an issue with the praise of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. The complaint is only about the sound of the speaker. If we are reciting the Na’t of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, and we are using a sound system just for some ‘enjoyment’, but if neighbours in the vicinity are being hurt by this, then no doubt, the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم will not be happy either.
Asking permission from two or three locals is not sufficient; who will take permission from the suckling infants, their mothers, those with headaches, those with fever and the sick who lie in bed restlessly? Also, it is obvious that people are distressed by the racket of songs too, but they do not say anything out of fear and bear patiently.’ (Huqooq-ul-‘Ibaad ki Ihtiyatayn, p. 18)
May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to understand the importance of the rights of people and to fulfil them!

Maintaining ties of kinship with relatives
Dear Islamic brothers! In the matter of the people’s rights, everyone’s rights are important and all are necessary to be fulfilled, however, the most important from these are the rights of one’s relatives.
