A Du’a for Protection from Leprosy

The Du’a for protection from leprosy will be taught in accordance with Dawat-e-Islami’s weekly Sunnah-inspired Ijtima schedule.

The Du’a is as follows:

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّي اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبَرَصِ،وَالْجُذَامِ ،وَالْجُنُونِ ،وَسَيِّ ءِالْاَسْقَامِ

 (Abu Dawood, vol. 5, p. 463, Hadees 1525)

Translation: ‘O Allah, I seek your protection from white patches, madness, leprosy and bad illnesses.’

(Faizan-e-Du’a p. 288)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Method of collective Fikr-e-Madinah (72 Madani In’amaat)

Saying of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم: Pondering (over the Hereafter) for a moment is better than the worship of 60 years.

Let’s make ‘good intentions’ before filling in the Madani In’amaat booklet:

1.   To please Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ, I will carry out today’s Fikr-e-Madinah (i.e. self-accountability) myself through the Madani In’amaat booklet and persuade others as well.

2.   I will praise (i.e. thank) Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ for the Madani In’amaat which I practised.

3.   I will be regretful about the Madani In’amaat which I did not practise and try to act on them in the future.
