The Period of Mercy
Days and nights filled with Allah’s mercy
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَ ارْحَمْ وَ اَنْتَ خَیْرُ الرّٰحِمِیْنَ
"O my Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the Best of the Merciful."

اَسْتَغْفِرُاللّٰہَ رَبِّیْ مِنْ کُلِّ ذَنْبٍ وَ اَتُوْبُ اِلَیْہِ

وَ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ فِیْ رَیْبٍ مِّمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلٰى عَبْدِنَا فَاْتُوْا بِسُوْرَةٍ مِّنْ مِّثْلِهٖ۪-وَ ادْعُوْا شُهَدَآءَكُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ(23)
And if you have any doubt in that which We have revealed upon this distinctive bondsman of Ours, so, bring (at least) one chapter like it, and call upon all your helpers other than Allah, if you are truthful.

It is called the "Month of Allah" because everyone is occupied with fulfilling His commandments during this time.
This is the sacred month in which Allah revealed the Holy Quran for the guidance of mankind.

In Ramadan, the reward of a Nafl act is equivalent to a Farḍ, and a Farḍ is multiplied 70 times.
