Whilst in a state of wakefulness, the beloved Prophet
Question: Did our beloved Prophet Muhammadصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم behold Allah Almighty on the Night of MiꜤrāj?
Answer: Indeed, in a state of wakefulness, the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم beheld Allah Almighty during the Night of MiꜤrāj. This was a unique distinction and exclusive privilege of the beloved Prophet [1] Nobody besides him has seen Allah Almighty, nor will anyone be able to do so until the Day of Judgement.
In Paradise, the dwellers of Paradise will behold Allah Almighty.[2] اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه We too shall behold Allah Almighty, following the lead of our beloved Prophet
2. Protection against the Dajjāl
Question: It is said that one who memorises the last verses of Surah al-Kahf will be safeguarded from the Dajjāl. Is this true?
Answer: As mentioned in Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Sayyidunā Abū al-Dardāˈ رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ narrates that the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: “Whoever memorises the first ten verses of Surah al-Kahf shall be protected from the Dajjāl.”[4]
Another narration states, “Whoever memorises the last ten verses of Sūrah al-Kahf shall be protected from the Dajjāl.”[5]-[6]
3. Adjusting garments during prayer
Question: Some people are seen adjusting their shirts from behind while rising from bowing or prostration in prayer. What is the ruling?
Answer: It is mentioned in Bahār-e-SharīꜤat that lifting one’s garment during prayer—whether from the front or back—is makrūh taḥrīmī (prohibitively disliked).[7]
If there is genuine reason—such as clothing sticking to the body—there is no harm in adjusting it out of necessity.[8]
One should also avoid unnecessary movements, like adjusting the shirt corners while sitting between prostrations. To overcome such habits, take it seriously and assign a responsible Islamic brother to observe your prayer and point out such movements. This practice will help eliminate the habit.[9]
4. Reciting ṣalāt upon the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم when hearing his blessed name during Quranic recitation

5. Charging different prices for rich and poor customers

6. Is it true that children are decreed from the man’s destiny and sustenance from the woman’s?
Question: Some say that “Children come from the man’s destiny and sustenance from the woman’s.” Is this true?
Answer: Allah Almighty knows best. Every person has his or her own destiny. Allah Almighty has guaranteed to provide sustenance for every living being He has created. If such a division were true, what of those who are childless? Or those unmarried or widowed—would they be deprived of sustenance? This reasoning is therefore invalid.
Every individual receives what has been decreed in his destiny. Allah Almighty grants sustenance according to His wisdom—He provides to an ant what is enough for it, and to an elephant what suits its need.[12]
7. Printing Allah’s and the beloved Prophet’s names on wedding cards
Question: Many people print the names of Allah Almighty and the beloved Prophetصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم on wedding cards, but the recipients often fail to show due respect. What is the ruling?
Answer: Various publications—books, newspapers, and letters—often contain the names of Allah Almighty and His Messenger Every Muslim knows the due reverence owed to these sacred names. If someone prints them on an invitation card and others fail to respect it properly, the one who printed it is not sinful.[13]
8. Praying for the death of Satan
Question: Is it permissible to pray for the death of Satan?
Answer: Satan will indeed die, but not because of our prayers or curses.
The noble Quran states:
قَالَ رَبِّ فَاَنْظِرْنِیْۤ اِلٰى یَوْمِ یُبْعَثُوْنَ(۳۶)
He said, “O my Lord! Just grant me respite until the Day when people shall be resurrected.”[14]
He has been granted respite until the Day of Resurrection. When the Trumpet is blown, this accursed being will perish. As for ordinary jinn—who are also sometimes referred to as shayāṭīn—they continue to die as usual.[15]
