How can we please the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم?
Question: During the month of RabīꜤ al-Awwal, what deeds should we perform through which we can please the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم?
Answer: We should strive to please the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم not only during RabīꜤ al-Awwal, but also throughout other months. We should always perform those deeds that Allah and the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم are pleased with. If we have been negligent in performing Salah, we must put an end to it. If previous prayers have been missed, they must be made up immediately after repenting and calculating the missed amount.
Likewise, while fulfilling the obligations of fasting, Zakat and all other farāˈiḍ (obligations) and wājibāt (necessary duties), make preparations to commemorate the mawlid and mould your lives according to the Sunnah. For example, instead of adopting western-style haircuts, grow your hair in accordance with the Sunnah. Instead of going about bareheaded, adorn your head with the blessed green turban. If the beard has been shaved or trimmed to less than a fist in length, repent and adorn your face with a beard in accordance with the Sunnah. Also adopt Sunnah attire, and replace the laziness and negligence in acting upon the Sunnah with enthusiasm and diligence. Dedicate yourself to the deeds that please Allah and, اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه, a Madani transformation will occur in your heart.

What is the difference between Mirzai, Ahmadi and Qadiani?
Question: What is the difference between these three — Mirzai, Ahmadi and Qadiani?
Answer: Mirzai, Ahmadi and Qadiani are three names for the same group. The founder of this group was Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani. Those people who —مَعاذ َاللہ— believe him to be a prophet are called Ahmadi in relation to his name “Ghulam Ahmad”, Mirzai in relation to his family name “Mirza”, and Qadiani in relation to his city “Qadian”. So, his followers are recognised by these three names: Mirzai, Ahmadi and Qadiani. These people are not Muslims because they believe in the prophethood of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani, whereas prophethood came to an end with our Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. This was explicitly declared by the Seal of the Prophets صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, as narrated in Tirmidhi:
اَنَا خَاتَمُ النَّبِیِّیْنَ لَا نَبِیَّ بَعْدِی
I am the final Prophet; there is no prophet after me. [1]
Believing that our Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is the final Prophet is among the fundamental beliefs of Islam, and it is a condition of faith to believe that no new prophet will come after him. If anyone believes another person to be a new prophet after the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, or considers it possible for anyone to attain prophethood, then such a person leaves the fold of Islam and becomes a disbeliever, and regarding him as a disbeliever and an apostate is necessary.
Likewise, if someone believes that the Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is the final Prophet, but recites the kalimah of a false claimant to prophethood or believes a false claimant to be a true prophet, then such a person is no longer a Muslim. His belief that the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is the final Prophet will be of no avail to him; rather, it is necessary to regard that person as a disbeliever and an apostate. Therefore, those who believe in the prophethood of Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani are out of Islam entirely; they have no connection with Islam and are apostates. Whoever dies upon the Qadiani religion will remain in Hell forever. Their punishment will be more severe than that of the idol-worshipping polytheists مَعاذ َاللہ.
Describing the punishment of the disbelievers who remain in Hell after the sinful believers have been taken out and admitted into Paradise, the erudite Hanafi jurist, Mufti Amjad ꜤAlī al-AꜤẓamī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه states:
The punishment for the disbelievers will be that each of them will be confined in a chest of fire proportionate to their height. Then fire will be kindled within it and it will be sealed with a lock of fire. The chest will then be placed inside another chest of fire, with fire burning between the two, and a lock of fire sealing it. It will then be placed in yet another chest, locked with another lock of fire, and cast into the fire. Every disbeliever will think that none besides himself remains in the fire. This is a painful and everlasting torment for him.
When all the people of Paradise have entered Paradise and only those destined to remain in Hell forever are left therein, death will be brought in the form of a ram and placed between Paradise and Hell. Then a herald will call out to the people of Paradise. They will peer out in fear, lest they be commanded to leave Paradise. Then he will call out to the people of Hell and they will look on with happiness, hoping that perhaps they will be delivered from their suffering. Then he will ask them all: “Do you recognise this?” They will reply: “Yes, this is death.” It will then be slaughtered, and he will say: “O people of Paradise! There is everlasting life now; there will be no death. O people of the Fire! There is everlasting life now; there is no more death.” Thereafter, the people of Paradise will experience immense joy, while the people of Hell will suffer excruciating grief. [2]
To all those who deny the Finality of Prophethood, I offer this sympathetic counsel: have mercy upon yourselves. Do not wrong your souls, and believe wholeheartedly in the final Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Regard anyone who falsely claims prophethood as an apostate, and also regard those who believe him to be a prophet as apostates. Then enter the shelter of Islam. Likewise, I invite all other non-Muslims to Islam. Islam is a peaceful religion. Accept it and, اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه, peace and tranquillity will enter your heart. You will find comfort in this world, in the grave and on the Day of Judgement, and اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه , you will attain the everlasting blessings of Paradise.

Is striking someone on the head a sin?
Question: Some people say that striking someone on the head is a sin because the Quran is in the head. Is this true?
Answer: Some people say that striking someone on the head is a sin because the Quran is in the head, and some say the Quran is in the chest of the Ḥāfiẓ. In reality, the Holy Quran is neither in the head nor in the chest; these are figurative expressions. However, striking a person on the head or face is impermissible. Therefore, one should not hit anyone on the head or face, not even animals.

What is the ruling regarding eating and drinking from plastic utensils?
Question: Nowadays, it is common to store food and drink in plastic bags, and heating food and drink in plastic utensils is also common. Experts say that plastic contains dangerous chemicals which, when heated, mix with food and are harmful to health, and in some cases even cause serious illness. Therefore, for the well-being of the Ummah, kindly share some beneficial advice on this matter so that we can protect ourselves from these harms.
Answer: According to scientific research, plastic utensils contain harmful chemicals, and in some cases, their use has been associated with fatalities. When hot food or drink, like tea, are placed in plastic bags or plastic containers, or when food in a plastic container is heated in a microwave oven, the chemicals present in the plastic mix with the food. When consumed, these chemicals enter the stomach and may lead to hair loss, infertility, kidney stones and other kidney diseases, indigestion, ulcers, skin diseases, heart disease, and even cancer.
Therefore, instead of using plastic utensils, use utensils made of steel, glass, china, clay or wood. The Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah, Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه states: “It is not established that the Holy Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم ate or drank from copper or brass utensils. Rather, utensils made of clay or wood were used, and waterskins for water.” [3] According to some narrations, the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم possessed glass utensils.[4]
