اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه. After listening to this, you will learn how those who love Allah spend their nights.

The final Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم declared:

Allah sent a revelation to Dāwūd, announcing, “O Dāwūd! Give glad tidings to the sinners and tell the truthful to be afraid.” Dāwūd was amazed by this and submitted, “O Lord! What glad tidings should I give to the sinners and how should I tell the truthful to have fear?”

The Hadith mentions how Allah then proclaimed:

O Dāwūd! Give glad tidings to the sinners that no sin is greater than My forgiveness, and warn the truthful not to become pleased with their good deeds, for whoever I take account of regarding My blessings is ruined.

O Dāwūd! If you desire to love Me, remove the love of the world from your heart, for My love and love of the world cannot gather in the same heart.

O Dāwūd! He who loves Me performs tahajjud before Me when the people are asleep, remembers Me in solitude when the heedless are negligent of My dhikr, and expresses gratitude upon My blessing whilst the forgetful forget Me.^[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! True love for Allah can only be attained when we know the means of acquiring it.

The most important means of attaining the love of Allah Almighty is to love His beloved Prophetصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم  sincerely and obey him in every matter. In fact, Allah Almighty has made obedience to the beloved Prophetصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم  a condition for attaining His love.
