Indeed, Allah loves those who repent sincerely, and those who are exceedingly pure.[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                          صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Encouragement for Pious Deed No. 5

Dear Islamic brothers! To grow in love for Allah Almighty and His beloved Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, affiliate yourself with Dawat-e-Islami’s religious environment. Participate actively in its 12 Religious Activities. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه This will help develop consistency in performing good deeds and help us develop a mindset to avoid sin.

From these 12 Religious Activities, one is filling in the Pious Deeds booklet. From the 72 good deeds described in this by our Shaykh, Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri, Pious Deed no. 5 states: “Did you recite Āyat al-Kursī, Surah al-Ikhlāṣ, and Tasbīḥ Fāṭimah at least once after each of the five daily ṣalahs today?”

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri has given his students an excellent method of self-reformation. You, too, should obtain this pocket-sized booklet from Maktabat al-Madina, read it, carry out the good deeds mentioned in it, and review your actions daily.

اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه By its blessing, you will develop a mindset to avoid sin and wholeheartedly carry out good deeds. Your heart will gain purity, and your character will become bright, refined, and beautiful.
