Book Name:How to love Allah even further
First, here are two Aḥādīth of the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم:
1. “Allah loves for His servant to be grateful to Him for every morsel and every sip.”[1]
2. “Keep your tongues moist with dhikr and your hearts fresh with gratitude.”[2]
• Gratitude is a very high form of worship.[3]
• It is obligatory to show gratitude for Allah’s blessings.[4]
• The ability to show gratitude is a great good fortune.[5]
• Gratitude protects blessings.[6]
• Gratitude increases blessings.[7]
• Gratitude is the practice of the pious predecessors.[8]
• Gratitude is to abandon sin.[9]
• Gratitude is recognising the blessing.[10]
• Through gratitude for blessings, one is protected from punishment.[11]
• Worship is incomplete without gratitude.[12]
• Gratitude is the root of all acts of worship.[13]
