Dear Islamic brothers! To draw inspiration from the character of Sayyidunā Abū Bakr رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ and follow in his blessed footsteps, let us discuss some of his amazing qualities.

Three verses that shaped Abū Bakr’s life

The 1st Caliph of Islam, Sayyidunā Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ said, “There are three verses from the noble Quran I have always kept in mind.”

The first verse:

If Allah afflicts you with difficulty, then none can remove it except Him, and if He intends goodness for you, then none can impede His Grace;[2]

He said, “From this verse, I understood that if Allah Almighty wills good for me no one can prevent it, and if He decrees hardship for me, none besides Him can remove it.”

The second verse:

فَاذْكُرُوْنِیْۤ اَذْكُرْكُمْ
