Book Name:Virtues and Attributes of Al Siddīq Al Akbar رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ

So remember Me, I shall remember you,[1]

He said, “When I read this verse, I stopped thinking of anything besides Allah and began making dhikr of Him alone.”

The third verse:

وَ مَا مِنْ دَآبَّةٍ فِی الْاَرْضِ اِلَّا عَلَى اللّٰهِ رِزْقُهَا

And there is no moving creature on earth except that its sustenance is upon Allah’s bestowal,[2]

He said, “By Allah! Ever since I read this verse, I stopped worrying about my sustenance.”[3]

Dear Islamic brothers! These three statements reflect three qualities of Sayyidunā Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ:

1.Tabattul: Complete devotion to Allah Almighty; detaching the heart from all else and remembering only Him.

2.Tafwīḍ: Total consignment of one’s affairs to Allah Almighty and firm belief that only what Allah Almighty wills shall happen.

3.Tawakkul: Complete trust and reliance upon Allah Almighty.

These are three highly significant qualities. Whoever has them attains peace, success, and special help from Allah Almighty. Through them, one is protected from distress, and if Allah Almighty wills, their Hereafter is made pleasant and joyous.
