اَلْاَمَانُ وَالْحَفِیظ O those who love Allah’s Messenger! This is not a fabricated story. Imam Ibn Abī al-Dunyā رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه was a leading Hadith scholar who recorded this incident with a complete chain of narration.

This is a harrowing story we can learn a lot from.

Indeed, whatever our Truthful Prophetصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم  said is absolutely true. Whoever hates the honourable Sayyidunā Abū Bakr رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ will not enter Paradise, even if their good deeds are equal in number to those performed by seventy Prophets. 

May Allah Almighty protect us from hatred or disrespect towards the noble Companions and Ahl al-Bayt. By the grace of Allah, we love the noble Companions and Ahl al-Bayt. Every Companion and member of the Prophet’s Family is deeply cherished and a source of comfort to our hearts.

May Allah Almighty make this love everlasting. May we live with this love, die with this love, be laid in our graves with this love, and be raised on the Day of Judgment with this love.

اٰمِیْنْ بِجَاہِ خاتَمِ النَّبِیّٖن صلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہ ِوَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ

The compassion of Sayyidunā Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ

Sayyidunā Anas b. Mālik رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ narrates:

On the Night of MiꜤrāj, when Allah’s Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم went to visit the heavens and behold Allah Almighty; that night, Jibrīl عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم spoke of the excellence of the Prophet’s vizier, Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ.

He said, “O Messenger of Allah! On the Day of Judgement, it will be said to Abū Bakr, ‘Enter Paradise (without accountability), O Abū Bakr!’ He will reply, ‘I will not go to Paradise until those who love me are granted admission to it!’’’^[1]
