1. Every form of good conduct is charity, whether displayed towards a rich or poor person.[1]
2. Whoever believes in Allah and the Day of Judgement, should maintain ties of kinship.[2]
* In Quran and hadith, there is an unrestricted command to be kind to all relatives, as well as close family.[3]
* The right of one’s parents is foremost in matters relating to good conduct.
* There are many forms of good conduct, including presenting gifts, helping where assistance is required, giving the greeting of salaam, going to visit them, sitting in their company, speaking with them, and treating them with gentleness and compassion.[4]
