mutual trust between husband and wife, cause argumentation between them on every small matter, and in some cases even lead to divorce. They can divide siblings and destroy the fabric of a happy family.
6. Those that harbour bad assumptions about others can be more prone to paralysis and heart diseases. According to a recent report, those that hold hostile views concerning others, and therefore experience mental stress and remain in a state of anger, are 86% more susceptible to heart diseases and paralysis.[1]
May Allah protect us from the calamity of bad assumptions!
اٰمِیْن بِجَاہِ خاتَمِ النَّبِیّیْن صلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہ ِوَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ
5. Do not look for faults in others!
The fifth principle of living collectively is:
وَّ لَا تَجَسَّسُوۡا
And do not search for (hidden) faults. [2]
Attempting to find out about people’s secret matters and faults, is known as tajassus.[3]
For example:
* Asking someone, “You stay awake late into the night; do you read fajr salah or not?”
* Let’s say a new employee starts work somewhere. It is tajassus if someone then asks the boss, “Does your new employee work
