those people?’ He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: ‘People who recite Quran; as they are the chosen people of Allah Almighty and included among the special.’ (Ibn-e-Majah, vol. 1, p. 140, Hadith 215) * The Pious Deed of reciting various invocations, which contains instructions for performing Zikr and other phrases of remembrance and glorification. Regarding the virtue of Zikr, it is stated in Hadith- Qudsi, that Allah Almighty stated: ‘When My slave does My Zikr and his lips move for Me, then I am with him.’ (Ibn-e-Majah, vol. 4, p. 243, Hadith 3792) * To act upon the Pious Deed regarding observing Sawm on Monday is also an admired act according to the blessed Hadith. The saying of the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is: ‘Deeds are presented on Monday and Thursday. Therefore, I prefer that when my deeds are presented, I am observing Sawm.’ (Tirmizi, vol. 2, p. 187, Hadith 747) * This Pious Deed of consoling a patient is also of great importance, because the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated: ‘Whoever visits a sick person, a proclaimer calls from sky: ‘Be happy, as this walking of yours is blessed, and you have made your abode in Paradise.’ (Ibn-e-Majah, vol. 2, p. 192, Hadith 1443)
Dear Islamic brothers! You have heard that acting upon the Pious Deeds booklet is actually acting upon some commandments of the Holy Quran and blessed Hadith. There are so many blessings for acting upon them that we cannot even imagine. For example, we even get steadfastness in good intentions of the good deeds; compliance of Fard and Wajib acts i.e., offering of Salah and punctuality of Jama’at; recital of the Holy Quran; abundance of fasting; steadfastness in Awraad and Wazaaif [litanies]; consistency in studying the books of Amir Ahl-e-Sunnat and the scholars of Ahl-e-Sunnat; privilege of learning and teaching Quran; blessings of Sunan; recitation of the three verses of Kanz-ul-Iman (including exegesis of Khaazin-ul-Irfan, Noor-ul-Irfan or Siraat-ul-Jinan); Tarbiyyah of Infiradi Koshish; veil within veil; privilege of facing towards Qiblah to the best of ability
