‘He who goes to the Masjid at dawn or dusk (for Salah), Allah prepares a hospitable abode for him in Jannah, whenever he walks to it or comes back to it.’ (Muslim, p. 336, Hadith 229)
In this Pious Deed, we have also been persuaded to offer Salah in the first row.’ It is stated about it in a blessed Hadith: If people knew the reward for calling out Azan and offering Salah in the first row and they did not get these privileges without drawing lots, they would definitely draw lots for the sake of them. (Muslim, p. 231, Al-Hadith 437)
Suppressing anger and forgiving
Dear Islamic brothers! Have you heard that acting upon the Pious Deed of offering Salah with Jama’ah, brings about so much reward! May Allah Almighty enable us to offer all five Salahs regularly with Jama’ah!
Similarly, one Pious Deed is: Upon becoming angry with someone (at home or outside) today, have you cured your anger by staying quiet or have you spoken up?
This is a great means of uprooting quarrel and discord, and establishing peace in society. When everyone stops taking revenge, and instead remain forgiving and patient, we will find quarrels and disputes will be to be rooted out and hence our society will become peaceful. In this Pious Deed, we have also been persuaded to forgive others. Forgiving others means, if someone makes a mistake or oppresses us in any way or hurts us in any manner, instead of taking revenge or showing anger to him by saying unkind and harsh words, we should forgive him, for the sake of Allah Almighty. Suppressing anger and forgiving people are excellent qualities and fine habits. In Ayah 109 of Surah Al-Baqarah, part 1, Allah Almighty has stated:
