مَنْ صَلّٰی عَلَیَّ مِاءَۃً کَتَبَ اللہُ بَیْنَ عَیْنَیْہِ بَرَاءَ ۃً مِّنَ النِّفَاقِ وَبَرَاءَۃً مِّنَ النَّارِوَاَسْکَنَہُ اللہُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَۃِ مَعَ الشُّہَدَاءِ
‘Whoever recites Salat upon me 100 times, Allah Almighty will write between his eyes that this person is free from hypocrisy and hellfire and Allah Almighty will keep him with the martyrs on the Judgement Day.’ (Mu’jam Awsat, vol. 5, p. 252, Hadith 7235)
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said, ‘اَفْضَلُ الْعَمَلِ اَلنِّيَّۃُ الصَّادِقَۃُ’ A true intention is the best of an action. (Jami’ Sagheer, p. 81, Hadith 1284)
O devotees of Rasool! Make a habit of making good intentions prior to every work, for a good intention enables a person to enter Jannah. Before listening to the Bayan, make good intentions as well. For example, make intention:
* That I will listen to the complete Bayan in order to gain knowledge;
* That I will sit with manners;
* That I will refrain from laziness during the Bayan;
* That I will listen to the Bayan for my reform; and
* That whatever I will listen, I will strive to convey it to the others.
