Ghareeb Faiday Main Hai

Book Name:Ghareeb Faiday Main Hai

And those who, when they spend, neither exceed the limits nor act miserly, and stay in moderation between the two.

[Kanz-ul-Iman (translation of Quran)] (Part 19, Surah Al-Furqan, Verse 67)

What is meant by extravagance and hardship?

It is written under this Ayah in Tafseer Siraat-ul-Jinan: Extravagance means spending in disobedience. One saint رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه said: There is no good in extravagance, while another saint رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه said: There is no extravagance in any good actions. Also, Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn-e-Abbas رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُما says regarding miserliness: What is meant by this is that the servant falls short in fulfilling the rights prescribed by Allah Almighty.

It is narrated: He who prevented a right, he acted miserly, and he who spent unjustly, squandered. Some commentators have said: The people mentioned in this verse are the great Sahabah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُم of the Leader of the Prophets صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, who neither ate to live in pleasure and bliss, and nor did they wear for beauty and adornment. Their only goal was to suppress hunger, to hide their Satr and to protect themselves from the heat and cold. Security is in poverty

Dear Islamic Brothers! One of the benefits of poverty is that sometimes poverty is better for a person and there is more comfort and security for him in poverty than wealth. Wealth is something that indulges a person into many sins.

*   Today there is a large group of people who are engaged in sins due to the abundance of wealth.

*   They are being distanced from the divine court of Allah Almighty.
