*   Forgetting the darkness of the grave, we are busy buying expensive mobiles and big cars.

*   We seem to be preoccupied with building a beautiful house while heedless of actions that will benefit in the grave.

*   We are trying to accumulate a lot of wealth instead of doing a lot of good deeds.

Benefits of contentment

Dear Islamic Brothers! Contentment is a great blessing and it has innumerable benefits such as;

*   Contentment leads to peace of mind, self-satisfaction and a happy disposition.

*   It protects man from mental anxieties, mental illnesses, physical ailments and the enslavement to one’s desires.

*   Purity of heart, high morals, purity of sustenance and the goodness of society are maintained.

*   It protects one from a distressful like, anxiety, disorder and chaos.

*   One’s connections, affections and relations remain strong.

*   Religious pride, enlightened faith, self-respect, independence and sovereignty are not allowed to be taken away.

*   It is easy to fulfil one's religious and worldly rights and responsibilities, fulfil one's responsibilities and fulfil one's requirements.

*   Time, energy, health, intellect, intelligence and ability are not allowed to be spent on unnecessary tasks.

*   The fact is that contentment is the true success and the real wealth as the Merciful Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated:
