Book Name:Ghareeb Faiday Main Hai
Richness does not mean having a great amount of wealth and property, but true richness is richness of the heart. (Muslim, p. 405, Hadees 2420)
Remember! People who are greedy in accumulating wealth should think that when death comes, all of those things will remain here. Wealth will remain deposited in the bank, all property will be divided among relatives. All the beautiful cars will stay here and we will not be able to gain anything from these things. Like the divine statement in Parah 30, Surah Takaathur:
The desire to seek more wealth has kept you neglectful (from the remembrance of Allah) Until you (died and) confronted the graves. Yes, certainly! You will soon come to know. Again, yes, certainly! You will soon come to know. Yes, certainly! If you had known with knowledge of certainty, so you would not have loved wealth. Indeed you will definitely see Hell. Again, indeed you will definitely see it with the sight of certainty. Then indeed, on that Day, you will surely be questioned regarding the bounties (of Allah).
[Kanz-ul-Iman (translation of Quran)] (Part 30, Surah Al-Takaathur, Verses1-8)
It says in Tafseer Siraat-ul-Jinan: Remember! The reality of the wealth that is coveted is that it stays with the person as long as the soul remains in his body and as soon as the soul separates from his body and he is buried in the grave, the wealth leaves him and only his deeds go with him in the grave. Therefore, every wise person should try to do more good deeds instead of being greedy for more wealth so that they may be his best companion in the grave. (Tafseer Siraat-ul-Jinaan, Part 30, Surah Al-Takaathur, under the verse 2, vol. 10, p. 812, summarised)
Dear Islamic Brothers! Indeed, greed for wealth is something that makes a person oblivious to Allah Almighty. It is a lesson for those who are always
