Dear Islamic Brothers! Indeed, if we reflect on ourselves, the fact will come to light that our whole body is the centre of innumerable blessings bestowed by Allah Almighty, just think! If we are given the riches of this world and asked to give our eyes, become disabled in one foot, have a hand cut off, or one of our ears, will we be prepared to do this? Even if we are given all the wealth of the world, none of us will be prepared for these things, but how regretful! Despite the safety of these limbs, we weep over a lack of wealth, so we should not be heartbroken because we do not have wealth or poverty, rather we should be grateful to our Lord Almighty for the various blessings and always remain content with His Will.

Dear Islamic Brothers! Where Islam prevents us from miserliness, it also forbids us to be extravagant and teaches moderation, as Allah Almighty states in the Holy Qur'an:
وَ الَّذِیْنَ اِذَاۤ اَنْفَقُوْا لَمْ یُسْرِفُوْا وَ لَمْ یَقْتُرُوْا وَ كَانَ بَیْنَ ذٰلِكَ قَوَامًا(۶۷)
