Khush Qismat Kon

Book Name:Khush Qismat Kon

It is stated in the end of this verse:

وَ مَا الْحَیٰوةُ الدُّنْیَاۤ اِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُوْرِ(۲۰)

and the life of this world is nothing but goods of deception.

[Kanz-ul-Iman (translation of Quran)] (Part 27, Surah Al-Hadeed, Verse 20)

It is stated in Tafseer Siraat-ul-Jinan: The worldly life is to show pride and arrogance amongst one another, and to desire an increase in terms of one’s wealth and children over others. And if this is the state of the world and it contains such evils, then instead of attaching your heart to it and busying yourself in acquiring it, one ought to busy himself with those actions that are beneficial for the Hereafter. (Siraat-ul-Jinan, vol. 9, p. 741)

Dear Islamic brothers! From the parable mentioned in the beginning and this verse, we come to know that family, children and wealth are only beneficial in this world. Family and children only remain with a person until the grave, family and children are useful for the funeral rites, whereas, virtuous deeds will benefit a person in the grave also. Family, children and wealth leave a person as soon as he dies; whereas, virtuous deeds will not leave a person all alone in the grave. Therefore, the intelligent person ought to make efforts to increase his virtuous deeds instead of increasing his wealth and showing pride over his children, because virtuous deeds have many benefits. For example:

*   One earns the pleasure of Allah Almighty through the blessings of virtuous deeds.

*   One will attain the bounties of Paradise.

*   One will attain salvation from the torments of the grave and the plains of resurrection.

*   It is a means of attaining forgiveness for sins.

*   It is means of Divine Mercy descending.
