When three days came to an end, I said: ‘O bondsman of Allah Almighty! I heard the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم saying three times, ‘A dweller of Paradise will pass by you now’, and all three times it was you. Thus, I made a firm intention to find out your deed, but I have not seen you perform any great deed, so how did you achieve this rank?’
The Ansari companion replied: ‘I have no other deed except that which you saw. Sure! There is certainly one thing I do not have any evil intent towards any Muslim in my heart and I do not jealous over anything that Allah Almighty has granted someone.’
Sayyiduna Abdullah Bin ‘Amr رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُما states: I said to him, ‘This is the action that has granted you such loftiness, and we do not have the ability for it.’ (Ihya-ul-Uloom, vol. 3, p. 57)
Dear Islamic brothers! From today, we ought to forget jealousy, malice, hatred, animosity, quarrelling and dislike, and embrace one another for the pleasure of Allah Almighty and to gain rewards. We should seek pardon from each other, because those who love each for the sake of Allah Almighty will be granted a very high rank and station on the Day of Judgement.
The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: ‘There will be pulpits of light around the Divine Throne on the Day of Judgement. Those who will be seated on them will have illuminating clothing and faces; they will neither be Prophets nor martyrs, but the Prophets and martyrs will admire them.’
The noble companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُم said: ‘O Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! Inform us of their qualities.’
He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم replied: ‘They are those who love each other for the sake of Allah Almighty, they sit together for His sake and they meet each other for His sake.’ (Majma’-ul-Zawaaid, vol. 10, p. 491, Hadees 17999)
