* The gratitude of the eyes is to conceal the fault of a believer if you happen to see it (Ihya-ul-Uloom, vol. 4, p. 103, summarised)
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Du’a for showing gratitude upon acceptance of a supplication
According to the schedule of the weekly Sunnah-inspiring Ijtima of Dawat-e-Islami, the Du’a for showing gratitude upon the acceptance of a supplication will be learnt. The Du’a is:
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِعِزَّتِهٖ، وَجَلَالِهٖ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ
Translation: All praise is for Allah Almighty through Whose Might and Greatness, good actions reach completion. (Mustadrak, vol. 2, p. 241, Hadees 2043)
Dear Islamic brothers, whenever you sense that your Du’a has been accepted, e.g. an ill person regains health, returns safely from a journey or any other need was fulfilled, then show gratitude using the aforementioned words.
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Method of collective Fikr-e-Madinah (72 Madani In’amaat)
Saying of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم: Pondering (over the Hereafter) for a moment is better than the worship of 60 years. (Al-Jami’-us-Sagheer, pp. 365, Hadees 5897)
Let’s make ‘good intentions’ before filling in the Madani In’amaat booklet:
1. To please Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ, I will carry out today’s Fikr-e-Madinah (i.e. self-accountability) myself through the Madani In’amaat booklet and persuade others as well.
2. I will praise (i.e. thank) Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ for the Madani In’amaat which I practised.
