Took honey from the treasury after public permission

Once, Sayyiduna ‘Umar Farooq-e-A’zam رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ fell ill, the physicians prescribed honey for treatment. The honey was available in the treasury but he رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ was not willing to take it without the prior permission of the Muslims. Hence, he رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ visited the main Masjid and gathered the maximum number of Muslims to seek their permission. When people allowed, then he رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ used it.
