Book Name:Life Is Silently Slipping Away
Consider our tongue and the words uttered by it—what distance exists between the two? None at all. Similarly, what distance exists between our heart and the thoughts that arise within it, between our soul and our body, between our eyes and the light contained within them? There is no distance whatsoever.
Allah Almighty said to Prophet Mūsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام: “O Musa! [If you wish to attain even greater closeness to Me,] then recite ṣalāt abundantly upon [the beloved Prophet] Muḥammad
Indeed, we too desire closeness to Allah Almighty. Once a servant attains nearness to the Lord, what more could one possibly desire; what deficiency remains? How can this closeness be attained? By reciting ṣalāt upon the beloved Prophet
May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to consistently perform the simple yet immensely rewarding act of sending abundant ṣalāt upon the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم so that we may attain this great blessing.
(Allah Almighty states in the noble Quran):
And it is He Who made the night and the day come after one another ˹as a sign˺
